Giving Back…it's a Bellator thing
"Gratitude" is one of Bellator's core values, and our agents and staff put this into action daily through their involvement in the community. In lieu of our regular division sales meetings in August, the Bellator team has committed to bring awareness to four local charity organizations by serving in hands-on projects coordinated by our agents.

The Fuse Project's Second Annual Dragon Boat Festival
On Saturday, June 6, 2015, the Fuse Project raised $150,000 at its second annual Dragon Boat Festival at the 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center. With the participation of 45 teams and over 5,000 people in attendance, the event surpassed expectations and numbers from the previous year.
The festival is focused around the races, which consist of 20-person teams rowing a 46-foot long boat down the river with a drummer at the helm to keep the strokes on beat. Teams consisted of local businesses, nonprofits, educational leaders and several community groups. The free event all...
Last year, the Annual Fallen Heroes Memorial and Children's & Women's Hospital Golf Classic raised over $46,000 for two worthy charitable causes. These generous donations pushed Bellator's CEO's Fallen Heroes Memorial project fund above $200,000 in contributions raised thus far – through car shows, donors, a concert and the annual Golf Classic. Furthermore, the money raised allows the Children's & Women's Hospital to continue growing, improving and positively impacting families for years to come.
This year, the golf tournament event is scheduled for April 30th from 11:00 am – 5:30 pm at the TimberCreek Golf Course in Daphne, AL and will feature everything from a live...
Since 2007, our very own Nathan Cox, CEO of Bellator Real Estate & Development, has been planning the design and implementation of the Fallen Heroes Memorial, to be dedicated at the USS Alabama Battleship Park on September 11, 2015.
After having served in our Marine Corps and facing numerous losses of friends, Cox knew the War on Terror Memorial was the route to take in order to honor those who have lost their lives. He explained, "[It's] truly something you never forget. That sums up what service is all about, especially serving in a combat zone." The memorial will be designed to honor all of those who sacrificed their lives in the War on Terror, with one section giving recognition for those specifically with strong ties to Alabama.
Today's topic is the Build Baldwin Now campaign, which is an initiative by the Baldwin County Education Coalition that is campaigning for a property tax increase to support building and expanding Baldwin County Schools. The vote will occur on March 31st, and Bellator asks that you promote the growth and success of our area by supporting this tax increase.
We encourage you to get behind this movement and get out and vote next month. If you would like to support the initiative with a sign in your yard, or if you have any questions about the above information, please don't hesitate to contact Troy Wilson at 251-928-0031 or twilson@bellatoral.com.
